Propane marketers in New England and the Midwest faced severe supply challenges during last winter’s extreme cold weather, and many have responded by ordering up new propane storage. Oil & Energyrecently had a fascinating conversation about propane storage with Matt Hiltz, owner of Hiltz Propane Systems, in Lancaster, Pa.
Hiltz said his company is growing to meet demand for more propane storage. Hiltz Propane Systems designs and installs propane storage, including complete projects started from scratch as well as terminal expansions. Demand for new storage has been strong for several years, and last winter’s supply challenges only increased business for installers like Hiltz. “This is definitely a hot area, and it will continue to be hot,” Hiltz said.
