Mass. Association Rallies Opposition to Carbon Tax

The Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association (MEMA) is combatting plans to impose a “carbon tax” on state residents and businesses that could cause the cost of heating oil and diesel fuel by 35 to 40 cents per gallon. The association is urging members to use this sample letter to join MEMA in opposing the legislation before the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities & Energy. MEMA members can download the letter and copy it onto their company letterhead.
