NEFI Announces 2019 HEAT Show
Last month, NEFI officially announced the name, date and location of its new annual trade show. The 2019 Heating and Energizing America Trade Show, or HEAT Show, will be held September 15-18 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI.
The HEAT Show is a joint event, combining the NEFI Energy Expo and the Southern New England Energy Conference (SNEEC). Past attendees of the latter may recall that SNEEC too was a joint event, which was co-organized by the Connecticut Energy Marketers Association (CEMA), Oil Heat Institute of Rhode Island and Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association.
“NEFI historically held the Energy Expo and Visions Conference in the spring, and the Southern New England Energy Conference would be in the fall. By consolidating the two shows in 2019, we are making it easier for our members and our vendors to interact with each other.” said Sean Cota, NEFI President and CEO, adding, “Seminars and sponsorships are still in the works. We are looking to lock in the most exciting and educational speakers and programs.”
“We are happy that over the years, SNEEC has developed the reputation as a strong education conference for marketers,” said CEMA President Chris Herb. “We hope our contribution to NEFI will be the development of strong management and technical education content for the HEAT Show.”
Currently being billed as “the hottest energy show in the industry,” the HEAT Show is slated to offer live-fire demonstrations of the latest home-heating innovations, multi-track educational and training sessions, updates on NORA programs, and a look at new legislation and how it will affect attendees’ businesses. Of course, there will also be gala receptions, fine dining and plenty of opportunities for networking and fun.
The official web address of the 2019 Heat Show is www.heatshow.com. Oil & Energy will continue to report on the event in the months ahead. Registration, exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities should all be available in the near future. For more information, email events@nefi.com or call 617-804-2222.
