Scully Signal Company Upgrades Mobile Truck Tester for Hazardous Area Compliance and Expands App Functionality
Scully Signal Company recently obtained approval for the Mobile Truck Tester (MTT) to be used in Hazardous Environments – a feature required when used in loading lanes of petroleum terminals, and in many global regions. The accompanying user-friendly app received upgrades as well, with new functionality including test report generation, backup and restore capability, and global real-time clock adjustments among several other enhancements.
The MTT provides an intuitive, single-operator solution for troubleshooting and validating tank truck overfill, grounding, and identification systems prior to loading.

Scully Vapor Connect™ Kit
Early this year, Scully launched the Scully Vapor Connect™ Kit – a self-proving system for monitoring and verifying terminal to tank truck vapor hose or loading-arm connection as part of the loading permit. The result: terminal operators gain the ability to confirm vapor connection before every load, closing a critical gap in environmental protection, operational accountability, and investment security.
Connecting the vapor hose is a crucial part of the loading process after connecting the overfill and grounding plug. Yet unlike grounding and overfill protection, vapor hose connection has historically relied on driver compliance alone in certain regions of the world. When the hose is not properly connected or bypassed entirely, vapors generated during fuel loading escape to the atmosphere rather than flow to the vapor recovery system, undermining both regulatory commitments and capital investments in environmental infrastructure.
The Scully Vapor Connect™ Kit centers on the ST-46, a self-proving controller that can function independently or in tandem with existing Scully Overfill and Grounding controllers. The ST-46 incorporates vapor verification status as part of the loading permit so that a tank truck cannot receive a loading authorization until a proper vapor connection is confirmed.

Tremcar Acquires Pacific Truck Tank, Expanding Its U.S. Presence
Tremcar, a leading North American manufacturer of tank trailers and truck-mounted tanks for the transport of liquid and dry bulk products, is proud to announce the acquisition of Pacific Truck Tank (PTT), based in Sacramento, California, effective October 20, 2025.

Operating from a 22,000-square-foot facility with six large work bays, the Sacramento-based company serves customers throughout the western states and into western Canada. The company is a DOT-registered shop and holds an ASME “R” Stamp #2483, demonstrating its commitment to quality and safety.

TankTroniks Launches FuelTransIT Digital Supervisor

FuelTransIT was developed through a partnership between TankTroniks and TrueTMS, to close the loop on tank wagon logistics. For years, the tank wagon sector has relied on a system of trust and manual entry. A driver pulls a lever, a meter spins, and eventually, that data makes its way onto a piece of paper that finds its way to a billing desk.
The problem with this traditional flow is that it is an open loop. Information leaves the truck, but by the time it reaches the TMS, it has been handled, transcribed, or perhaps even estimated.
When a delivery is made, the FuelTransIT system captures the exact metrics of the transaction: the precise volume, the temperature, and the specific GPS location of the drop. In a closed-loop system, that data is transmitted directly into TrueTMS the moment the transaction is complete. This is the Verified Delivery.
