NEFI Unveils New Member Resources

NEFI has launched a new Members Area at NEFI.com, providing all employees of member companies with more access, more information and more resources.

The secure, password-protected section will make it easier for members to get important business information; updated state and federal HOS Waivers; access to on-demand viewing of videos and recorded webinars; copies of NEFI’s communiques with the President, Senators and Representatives; and response submissions to the Cabinet members, the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and others.

Some of the highlights of the new Members Area include:

Member Database: The Member Database is open to all NEFI members. Individual members can be found by name, email address or company, and the database can be sorted and filtered by any combination state, member type (wholesale, associate, retailer, retired retailer), and other fields.

HOS Waivers and Compliance Alerts: Is your state covered by an active HOS Waiver? What was that change in reporting that you read about the other day? Have FMCSA fees been changed? These important questions are answered in the weekly NEON e-letter, but, previously, could have been difficult to find when needed. They are all now included in the Members Area and available at any time.

NEFI Communications and Comment Letters: NEFI is your voice in Washington, and regularly submits letters to the President and members of Congress about the liquid fuels industry. When legislation or product standards are under review, NEFI comments on behalf of its members. This archive includes those responses that were cosigned by other industry associations, such as EPA’s proposals to remove oil and gas-powered boilers and furnaces from ENERGY STAR®, which led to the formation an unprecedented coalition wherein NEFI, the American Gas Association, the American Public Gas Association, the Energy Marketers of America, National Propane Gas Association, Oilheat Manufacturers of America and the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors stood shoulder to shoulder against the common threat.

Webinar Archive: NEFI educational webinars are archived and available to view on demand. Presentations are provided in downloadable video format, as well as PDF and audio-only formats where available.

New Weather Services from National Weather Forecasting: The new service provides 10-day rolling forecasts and real-time and historical degree-day data for more than 200 weather stations, plus weekly weather discussions, disruptive event alerts and more. All information is available live via the new weather portal, free for members.

NEON Archive: Need to refresh your memory about an article in a previous NEON, or find an interesting link from the 10 Top Reads section? The archive includes all NEON e-letters from 2008 to the present.
