NEFI Members Join New England Council Conference

Over 250 New England Council members from throughout the region gathered in Washington, DC, on May 15 and 16 for The New England Council’s 2024 Washington Leaders’ Conference. The conference kicked off with a Welcome Luncheon at the historic Willard Intercontinental Hotel, where guests heard from a panel of leading political journalists who discussed the current political climate and upcoming Presidential, Senate, and House elections. Following the luncheon, members had the opportunity to participate in a variety of policy committee meetings with Congressional staff. The day ended with a Capitol Hill Reception attended by many members of the region’s Congressional delegation and their staffs. Day two featured a Congressional Breakfast where members heard from six members of Congress, followed by additional committee meetings with key federal agency officials.
