Eastern Energy Expo Is in the Books

The Eastern Energy Expo was held at the Atlantic City Conference Center and Harrah’s Resort from May 18 – 21, 2025.

Nearly 2,700 industry representatives went to Atlantic City and attended business and technical education programs, visited 200 exhibits, interacted at the Boiler Build on the show floor, and watched students compete at the Skills Competition. Attendees networked at the popular Hospitality Night parties hosted by sponsors and OESP, the Golf Tournament, and inspirational OESP Awards Banquet. And, five lucky attendees won Jackpot cash prize winners at the Trade Show! OESP also recognized the Dave Nelson Scholarship Winners and Industry Award Winners at its annual Awards Banquet.

The Boiler Build was a highlight of the technical program. Social media influencers Travis Abair (@t.a.p.plumbingandheating), George DeJesus (@georgetheplumber), Mike Flynn (@flynnstone1), and Kyle Hatch (@hvac_hatch), planned a boiler system from design and concept to construction right on the Trade Show Floor. During the process they discussed what goes where and why, recommended best practices, real world situations, pointers, and tips and tricks.

The Keynote breakfast presentations on Wednesday, May 21, were “Update: Washing Policy Issues” from Rob Underwood, President, Energy Marketers of America; and an inspirational talk with Ron Jaworski, Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame, Super Bowl Quarterback, ESPN Analyst and successful businessman. “Jaws” shared his seven “duhs” for success in building teams both on and off the field.

The Expo also offered more than 50 business and technical education programs including “Social Media – The Changing Landscape,” “Turn HVAC Maintenance into Profit!,” “The Future of Fuel,” “Artificial Intelligence – Trends, Opportunities & Considerations,” “Marketing as a Science,” “Diversification Profits, Pain and Experience,” “The Net Zero Home,” “Trump, Tweets and Tariffs,” “Culture by Design,” “A2L Refrigerants, “Making Combustion Great Again,” and more!
