2020 HEAT Show Goes Virtual
Free online event to feature live webinars, virtual vendor booths and video summit
The organizers of the 2020 Heating & Energizing America Trade Show (HEAT Show) have announced that this year’s event will transition to an online platform-based trade show experience. HEAT Show coordinators at NEFI and its state association partners are excited to debut a new and revolutionary trade show platform, including live webinar presentations and virtual vendor booths as well as the heating and energy industry’s first ever video-based Virtual Summit.
The 2020 HEAT Show was originally scheduled for September 21-23 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI. In recent weeks, however, state officials announced that the hosting venue would be converted to a field hospital for COVID-19 patients. At the same time, heating fuel and HVAC businesses have continued to provide needed relief to impacted communities along with critical support for health care facilities, workers and first responders.
“As expected, the heating and energy industry has once again risen to the occasion in a time of crisis and in the face of unprecedented challenges,” said NEFI President & CEO Sean Cota. “While we regret to be unable to bring the HEAT Show back to the Rhode Island Convention Center this year, we are determined to go forward with our event and thankful for the continued participation of our sponsors, vendors, presenters and attendees, whose support is now more important than ever.”
The 2020 Virtual HEAT Show platform is currently in development, but attendees, exhibitors and sponsors can immediately pre-register for the September 23 event at HEATShow.com. On the date of the show, registered attendees will be able to log on, view live educational webinars presented by industry experts, and visit online vendor booths complete with virtual product displays and live chat options. The 2020 HEAT Show will also feature the heating fuel industry’s first-ever Virtual Summit, where business and association leaders will provide updates on the historic “Providence Resolution” and present the much-anticipated “Roadmap to Net-Zero 2050” report.
“The 2019 HEAT Show was all about securing a future for our industry’s next generations,” Cota said. “Powered by a revolutionary online platform, 2020’s Virtual HEAT Show will show that the future is now, and that our industry is at its forefront. We look forward to once again partnering with our industry’s leading brands and innovators, and are thankful for their continued support.”
Free pre-registration for the Virtual HEAT Show is available online now at HEATShow.com.
